Tumbling Blocks Escher Style

Taking inspiration from the artist Escher, I constructed this piece to confuse the viewer about what is in the foreground and what is in the background, weaving the blocks together in a fashion that leaves you wondering where one piece ends and another begins. One side of the pink frame was purposely created through the quilt rather than around the outside perimeter, again to defy expectations.
