C is for Jo

The result of the 2019 #improvnorth quilting bee. I asked my bee mates to make a yellow and white fractured block. A black and white stripe was to be inserted to represent their individuality. Every block is connected—to signify the connection of the bee mates—to form the shape of a sideways horseshoe. The name C is for Jo pays homage to my talented ‘sista,’ who reminded us that there is more than one way to hang a horseshoe.
